After his death on 29 Nov 1732, his children, Teuneis Vanderveer, Hendrick Van Der Veer, Johannes Van Der Veer, Issac Van Nuys, Femmetje Van Der Veer, and Sara Van Der Veer, signed a power of attorney for the property called Cranberry Brook, to the brothers Cornelius VanderVeer, Michiel VanderVeer, Jacob VanderVeer, and John VanderVeer.

About 1747, he married his cousin Seytje Sarah Vanderveer b. 17 Mar 1722/3 Long Island NY dau. of Michael Vanderveer and Belitje Suydam. Michael is son of Jan Cornelius Van Der Veer listed above.

They had the following children born in Somerset Co, NJ.

Cornelius, Henry, and Peter with their families moved to Mercer Co, Ky in about 1792.
